- The average lifespan of a honey bee is between 8 weeks to 5 years depending on its type.
- Drone bees have a lifespan of around 8 weeks.
- Worker bees live up to 6 weeks in the summer and up to 5 months or more in the winter.
- The queen bee, the sole reproductive bee in the colony, can live over several years.
