Ramon Magsaysay Award
The Ramon Magsaysay Award is an annual award established in 1957 in memory of former Philippines President Ramon Magsaysay. It is considered Asia’s premier prize and highest honor recognizing selfless service, excellence and inspirational leadership by individuals and organizations across Asia. The award categories include: Emergent Leadership, Government Service, Public Service, Community Leadership, Journalism, and Peace & International Understanding.
It carries a certificate, medallion and cash award of USD 30,000 for each category. The presentation ceremony is held in Manila. Notable winners include influential leaders like Smitu Kothari (2022), Muhammad Yunus (2006), R. K. Laxman (1984), Anna Hazare (1990) and Kiran Bedi (1994) among others. Over 350 eminent personalities and organizations have received the Magsaysay award representing the best of Asia’s grassroots change-makers and public servants over the last 60 years since 1957.
The very prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award has been spotlighting exemplary contribtuions of inspiring leaders and citizens creating widespread enduring impact in Asia for the past six decades.

Gandhi Peace Prize
The Gandhi Peace Prize is an annual award instituted by Government of India since 1995 on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 125th birth anniversary. It recognizes global leaders and organizations who promote peace, non-violence and harmony in the spirit of Gandhi's values. The award carries a cash component of Rs 1 crore, a plaque and a citation for the awardees.
