LIC Assistant Selection Process

There will be three stages of the selection process for LIC Assistant Recruitment Exams. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection as the prelims exam is qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by a candidate in the LIC Assistant Main Examination (Phase II) and Interview.

Phase 1 – LIC Assistant Prelims Exam (Qualifying) 

Phase 2 – LIC Assistant Mains Exam (Scoring)

Phase 3 – LIC Assistant Interview/Personality Test (Scoring)

LIC Assistant Phase-1 Prelims Exam

  • The LIC Assistant Preliminary examination will have 100 multiple-choice questions.
  • Candidates must answer all questions within 1 hour.
  • Marks scored in the Numerical Ability & Reasoning Ability sections will be counted for ranking.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
