The 2025 Brand Finance Global 500 report ranks the Tata Group as India’s most valuable brand. It reached a new milestone with a brand value of $31.6 billion, marking a 10% increase from last year. This is the first time an Indian brand has crossed the $30 billion mark. Apple remains the world's top brand, valued at $574.5 billion.

Tata Group’s Consistent Growth

Ranked 60th globally, the Tata Group maintains its AAA-brand strength rating, reflecting its stable growth driven by its diverse business operations and adaptability to market changes.

Rising Indian Brands on the Global Stage

Several Indian brands have made notable strides in the global rankings:

  • Infosys: Saw a 15% rise in brand value to $16.3 billion, moving up to 132nd globally. It also recorded the highest compound annual growth rate (18%) among IT service brands over the past five years.
  • LIC: LIC achieved the fastest growth among Indian brands, with a 36% increase in brand value to $13.3 billion, earning the highest Brand Strength Index score of 88 out of 100.
  • Reliance Group: Experienced a 17% growth, bringing its brand value to $9.8 billion, reflecting its growing presence across multiple sectors.
  • Larsen & Toubro (L&T): This company entered the rankings with a brand value of $7.4 billion, highlighting its significant footprint in the diversified sector.

Global Brand Valuations

Tech giants continue to dominate globally:

  • Apple maintains its top position with a brand value of $574.5 billion, up 11% from last year.
  • Microsoft secures second place with a brand value of $461.1 billion, marking a 35% growth.
  • Google takes third with a brand value of $413 billion, up 24%.

Indian Banking Brands Gaining Ground

Indian banking brands are also making their mark globally:

  • HDFC Group: Enters the global rankings with a brand value of $14.2 billion.
  • SBI Group: Ranks with a brand value of $9.6 billion.
  • ICICI Group: Joins the list with a brand value of $6.4 billion.
