UP CONSTABLE Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:

  • Applicants must be citizens of India in order to be considered for the UP Police Constable position.
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962.
  • People who left their home countries – Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania to live permanently in India.

Qualification:

  • 10th and 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit: (as on 01/07/2023)

  • The age limit for the Male candidate is between 18 to 25 years.
  • The age limit for the Female candidate is between 18 to 28 years.
  • Age relaxation will be given as per the rules of the board. Candidates who fall under one of the reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST) are eligible for a relaxation for 5 years of the upper age limit.

  • Candidates must register online by providing essential information such as name, father's name, mother's name, DOB, gender, marital status, category, state of domicile, aadhaar no, and communication information like address, mobile number, and email ID. The details provided at this stage cannot be modified later on, so candidates are advised to be careful in entering the details.
  • For educational qualification, candidates should enter their 10th and 12th details, while for preferential qualification, they should enter the NCC, Territorial army, O level certificate details. Candidates should also provide their correspondence and permanent address.
  • After successful registration, candidates can activate their account through an OTP sent to their registered mobile number or email ID. After activation, candidates can login with their registration number and DOB and make payment.
  • Candidates must pay the application fee through the SBI Payment Gateway. After payment is made, the registration number is generated, and candidates can print their application. After completing the payment, candidates must login and upload their photo, signature, and relevant documents.
  • They must upload their recent passport-sized photograph (35mm x 45mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 20 kb but not more than 50 kb) and a scanned copy of their signature (35mm x 15 mm) in JPEG/JPG/JPE format (of size min 5 kb but not more than 20kb) & Upload their 10th & 12th Mark sheet Document.
  • They should take a print of the acknowledgment (Application) and keep it for future reference.
