Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate has to follow the given criteria to be eligible for RBI Grade B 2023 Exam. Eligibility Criteria is given below.

Education Qualification :

A candidates must possess the Minimum Educational Qualification required under RBI Grade B 2023 Recruitment given below-

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General)	A. Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD applicants) or Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters / years.
	B. Any such full-time course from a recognized University / Institute that is taken after Class 12th and is at least of 3 years’ duration/ candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognized by the Government as equivalent to professional and technical graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination.
	C. Candidates who have passed the Final Examination for Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India may also apply for the post. OR D. Any such full-time course from a recognized University / Institute that is taken after graduation and is at least of 2 years’ duration / recognized by the Government as equivalent to post graduation will be eligible for admission to the examination.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR	A. Essential: a. A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/Institute. OR
	B. PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute. OR
	C. Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute D. Candidates having Master’s Degree with Research/Teaching experience at a recognized Indian/Foreign University/ Institute will be eligible for relaxation in upper age limit to the extent of number of years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For experience, probationary period will not be reckoned.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM	A. Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT- Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years. OR
	B. Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute. OR
	C. M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years. OR
	D. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years

Age Limit :
Minimum age criteria for appearing in the RBI Officer (Grade ‘B’) examination. Candidates are required to be aged between 21 years and 30 years (both age included) to apply for RBI Grade B exam 2023. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

RBI Grade “B” Salary (Pay Scale)

Pay Scale for the RBI Grade B Officer Candidates will have a Basic Pay of Rs. 55,200/- in which he/she will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- till nine years of their service. Apart from the Basic Pay, multiple allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, Telephone Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, etc. are also provided to candidates.

RBI Grade “B” Exam Pattern

There are three phases for RBI Grade “B” Jobs in which the first is prelims, Second is Mains and the last interview phase . Given below exam format is given that will help you to understand better the exam pattern of these jobs.

After Qualifying these two exams candidate have to give interview exam.

RBI Grade B Application Fee

The candidates have to pay the requisite application fee to fill out their application form for RBI Grade B 2023 Exam. The fee has to be paid through online mode and any RBI Grade application form without the fee will not be accepted.

RBI Grade-B 2023 Online Application Process

Follow the steps mentioned below to fill in the online application form of the RBI Grade B 2023 exam:

Step 1: Click on the link https://ibpsonline.ibps.in/rbioapr23/ to Apply Online to get redirected to the official page of the Reserve Bank of India to fill the Online Application for RBI Grade B 2023.

Step 2: Click on the "CLICK Here NEW REGISTRATION" link provided on the top most right-hand side of the home page of the Reserve Bank of India.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the first section of the RBI Grade B Application form 2023 wherein you have to fill in all your basic information and click on the save and next button at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: You will now be redirected to the second section of the RBI Grade B 2023 application form. Upload your photograph and signature in the size and format allowed by RBI. The permissible size of the photograph must be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm and the photograph must be of passport size. Both the photograph and the signature must be clear and legible. Permissible file size of the photograph must be of minimum 20 KB and of maximum 50 KB and that of the signature must be of minimum 10 KB and of maximum 20 KB. After uploading your photograph and signature successfully click the next button to get redirected to the next section of the RBI Grade B 2023 Application Form.

Step 5: Now, fill in your personal details. There are three sub-sections that need to be completed in this portion of the RBI Grade B application form.

Step 6: Then fill you Educational Qualifications and your Work Experience. Once you are done with this, you have to select the examination center according to your preference.

Step 7: Get a preview of your application form and verify all the information provided by you in the Online Application Form of RBI Grade B. In case you find any error, you can edit the information provided by you. Once the data is uploaded and saved, you are not allowed to make any changes in the form, whatsoever.

Step 8: Finally, Select the payment method according to your choice. You can complete the payment either through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking (UPI) etc.

Step 9: At last click on Submit button. Your application for RBI Grade B 2023 will be successfully submitted.
