Age Limit
The age of the candidate must not be less than 21 years and must not exceed 30 years. The minimum age of a candidate shall be 21 years (completed) as on 01.01.2023. The maximum age shall not be more than 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 both days inclusive only are eligible) Relaxations in upper age limit for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Other Backward Community(OBC)/ Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) /Confirmed LIC employees are given below in table-

LIC AAO (IT) | The candidate must be a graduate in engineering (Computer Science, IT, or Electronics) or have completed his MCA or MSc (Computer Science) from a recognized university. |
LIC AAO (Chartered Accountant) | The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. He should also have passed the final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and be an Associate Member of the same. |
LIC AAO (Actuarial) | The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. He should also have passed Paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the exam conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. |
LIC AAO (Rajabhasha) | The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Hindi/English/Sanskrit with English/Hindi/English & Hindi as one of the subjects at the Bachelor’s degree level. |

LIC AAO 2023 Selection Process
There will be three stages of the selection process for LIC AAO Recruitment 2023. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection as the prelims exam is qualifying in nature. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by a candidate in the LIC AAO Main Examination (Phase II) and Interview.

LIC AAO Prelims Exam Pattern
- The exam will be conducted online and the duration will be 1 hour or 60 minutes (20 minutes for each section).
- There are 3 sections, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. Each question is given 1 mark.
- There will be no negative marking in the prelims exam.
- LIC AAO Prelims is qualifying in nature.

LIC AAO Mains Exam Pattern
- Candidates appearing in the prelim exam will be shortlisted for the main examination.
- LIC AAO's main exam consists of Objective Test (300 marks) & Descriptive Test (25 marks).
- Both the exams will be conducted online mode.
- The descriptive exam will be through typing on the computer.
