Doordarshan Recognized for Its Electoral Campaign Efforts

Doordarshan, India’s national broadcaster, was honored with an award in the Electronic Media category for its exceptional Voter Awareness and Education campaign during the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

The recognition specifically acknowledges its impactful series "Chunav Ka Parv Desh Ka Garv" and other initiatives designed to promote an informed and engaged citizenry. The award was presented to Doordarshan’s Director-General, Kanchan Prasad, by President Droupadi Murmu on Republic Day 2025 (January 25).
