“Hamara Samvidhan” Campaign Launched for Constitutional Awareness

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi celebrates the 75th anniversary of India's Constitution and the nation becoming a Republic. This year-long initiative aims to strengthen citizens' understanding of the Constitution and foster legal empowerment across India.

Key Campaign Highlights:

  • Nationwide Participation: More than 1.3 lakh citizens took the Panch Pran Pledge via the MyGov platform, demonstrating their dedication to national development.

  • Legal Awareness Programs: Through the Gram Vidhi Chetna initiative, law students conducted legal awareness activities in rural areas, benefitting around 21,000 individuals.

  • Inclusion of Marginalized Communities: The Nari Bhagidari and Vanchit Varg Samman programs engaged over 70 lakh people through webinars, promoting women's involvement in legal and social issues.

  • Youth Engagement: The Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp campaign hosted interactive competitions to encourage youth participation and instill a sense of responsibility for a brighter future.

Regional Outreach:

The campaign held regional events in Bikaner (Rajasthan), Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), and Guwahati (Assam), reaching over 5,000 attendees and engaging more than 8 lakh citizens through various sub-campaigns, including Sabko Nyaya Har Ghar Nyaya, Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp, and Vidhi Jagriti Abhiyaan.

Concluding Event in Prayagraj:

On January 24, 2025, the campaign concluded with a major event at Parmarth Triveni Pushp, Arail Ghat, Prayagraj, coinciding with the Maha Kumbh Mela. Highlights of the event included:

  • Release of an Achievement Booklet Documenting the campaign’s year-long journey, including key events, regional activities, and competitions.

  • Launch of the 2025 Calendar: Featuring themes and activities related to the campaign.

  • Unveiling of the Campaign Movie: Showcasing the year’s journey through an audio-visual presentation.

The event was attended by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, who underscored the significance of constitutional awareness and legal empowerment.
