SSC has changed SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2023; there will be two different phases, which a candidate is required to clear in order to get selected for various posts in government offices. SSC CHSL Tier I Exam is an Objective Multiple Choice Question paper and Tier II exam includes following three sections having two modules each.

SSC CHSL 2023 Application Fee
- The required application fee for General Category for SSC CHSL 2023 is Rs. 100/-
- Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

How to Apply for SSC CHSL 2023 Online?
Step 1: Go to the official website (www.ssc.nic.in) for SSC CHSL Apply Online 2023.
Step 2: Click on New User/ Register Now Button. The registration link will open up in the new window.
Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC CHSL 2023 application window and then click on the register button.
Step 4: Candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.
Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form of SSC CHSL 2023. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC CHSL 2023 exam. Candidates are required to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC CHSL 2023.
Step 6: In the next step, candidates would have to upload photographs and signatures following the requisites mentioned by SSC.
Step 7: Log in with your registered ID and password to complete the Part II of the application form of SSC CHSL 2023.
Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates must preview the entire application form of SSC CHSL 2023 once again then click on the Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CHSL application form.
SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria 2023
The official notification mentions all the eligibility conditions for the SSC CHSL exam. The SSC CHSL eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfill are:
- A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan,
- Tibetan refugee,
- A person of Indian origin

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
SSC CHSL Tier – I total time duration is 60 minutes. However, this duration extends till 80 minutes for PWD candidates. There will be 4 subjects with 100 questions (Objective Type) and each question carries 2 marks also there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer. SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
SSC has revised the SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern for CHSL 2023 exam and the new pattern Tier II will include the following three sections having two modules each:
Section-1: Module-I: Mathematical Abilities and Module-II: Reasoning and General Intelligence.
Section-2: Module-I: English Language and Comprehension and Module-II: General Awareness
Section-3: Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test and Module-II: Skill Test/ Typing Test
Tier-2 will be conducted in two sessions - Session- 1 & Session-2, on same day. Session-I will include conducting of Section-1, Section-2 and Module-1 of Section-3. Session-2 will include conducting of Module-2 of Section-3. Tier-2 will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module 2 of Section 3. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module-2 (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section 2.There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2 and Module-I of Section-3.
