'Ms. Sheyphali Sharan' New Principal Director General of PIB

Sheyphali B. Sharan has been appointed as the Principal Director General of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), succeeding Shri Manish Desai.

Central Staffing Scheme Deputations and Additional Responsibilities

Apart from her deputations, Ms. Sharan has held notable positions such as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for Information Policy at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, she served as the Director of Administration and Finance at the Lok Sabha TV (LSTV), Lok Sabha Secretariat, from 2007 to 2008, further broadening her understanding of parliamentary processes and communication.
