To develop the Uttar Pradesh Open Network for Agriculture (UPONA), the Uttar Pradesh government and Google Cloud (India) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding. By giving farmers one-stop access to advisory services, loans, mechanisation, market connectivity, and real-time meteorological and microclimate data, this digital public infrastructure—powered by Gemini AI and Beacon technology—aims to transform agriculture in the state.
